What Is A Wiki?

According to the best known wiki, Wikipedia, a wiki is, "a type of website that allows users to easily add, remove, or otherwise edit and change some available content, sometimes without the need for registration." Wikis are public (or semi-public) collaboration spaces, and therefore will work for this class as a virtual meeting place for class activities and collaborations. For a deeper understanding of wikis, please read Wikipedia's article on wikis:

What Do I Need To Know About This Wiki?

This wiki is semi-public, meaning that anyone on the Internet can read any entry. Therefore, do not put anything on this wiki that you would not be comfortable with the whole world seeing. EDUC601.1 class members with the PBwiki "invite key" for this site can edit any entry on this wiki. DO NOT share your password with anyone! Be advised that there is a section for each page that shows who has edited which entry, and also allows earlier versions to be restored.
